Bahrain

Bahrain’s postage stamps reflect the country’s rich history and cultural heritage. The first stamps used in Bahrain were British Indian issues overprinted with “Bahrain” in 1933. In 1966, Bahrain began issuing its own independent stamps, featuring themes such as local landmarks, royal portraits, traditional crafts, and significant historical events. Bahraini stamps are highly collectible, especially those from the pre-independence era and limited-edition releases.
